As a small business we appreciate your support and understanding that for our online jewellery sales we offer exchanges only, no refunds. Customised and sale items are considered final sale.
If the goods you receive are faulty, we will replace those goods if they are returned to us within 30 days of purchase. Reimbursement for shipping expenses will be up to the value of the original quoted shipping cost.
Bird of Prey Jewellery will accept jewellery items for exchange, on anything you are not happy with when returned, postmarked within 30 days of the delivery date, in new and unworn condition and in the original packaging. Items received as gifts may be exchanged for another item of equal value within 30 days of purchase. We will endeavour to return the exchange to you within two weeks of receipt. In extenuating circumstances and on an individual basis we reserve the right not to accept the return. Shipping expenses and handling fees are non-refundable and the return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
Bird of Prey Jewellery is not responsible for jewellery items lost or damaged in transit or any shipping fees. Please make sure all packages have a tracking number to ensure safe delivery of your return.

If the item was shipped under a free shipping promotion, we will credit your account less the actual cost of shipping.
All information you provide is kept confidential and is not shared. Bird of Prey Jewellery is committed to protecting your privacy while interacting with our content, products and services. We will never share your information unless you have given us your permission to do so with the exception of mail and email addresses which are shared only with our shipping carrier.
We will not disclose or sell your customer data to any third party. We will only send you email newsletters if you explicitly opt in.
Credit card details are not stored anywhere on our servers nor in our premises. Your credit card details are processed in real time by an independent payment gateway authorised by our bank, using secure encryption.
We endeavour to process online jewellery orders within 24 hours following payment in cleared funds. Payment by online banking cannot be checked until the next business day.
In-stock jewellery items will usually be shipped within two business days however, please allow 5 business days for order fulfillment and delivery within New Zealand and 7-10 business days for international shipping. We will send you an email notifying you when your order has been shipped.
At Bird of Prey Jewellery we can not always guarantee immediate availability of all products as many are limited edition items, made by human hands. If you have ordered an item that is not available or that is delayed, we will notify you of the situation via email. Also if there are items on back order, your order will be held until it can be shipped in its entirety in an effort to curb unnecessary waste and we will keep you informed by email.
Any orders placed after 11am on a Friday will be fulfilled the following Monday.
