What courier or shipping company are you using?

Within New Zealand your order will be sent by tracked post with NZ Post and couriered with NZ Post Couriers or New Zealand Couriers.

International orders are shipped by air with NZ Post.

Can I pick the courier it is sent with?

All couriered items are delivered by NZ Post Couriers or New Zealand Couriers at this time. Please let me know if you require an alternative service by emailing shop@birdofprey.co.nz 

Will you deliver to a PO Box?

Your order will be sent to the address you give at checkout including post office box addresses by tracked postal delivery.

Can I collect my order from you?

If you live in or near Gisborne, feel free to pick up your order, by arrangement from the studio. Select the "Click and Collect" freight option when you check out. Information for arranging a pick-up time that suits you will be emailed to the email address you provide at checkout. 

Will I need to pay to return my order if required?

To return or exchange items please contact Amanda at shop@birdofprey.co.nz and you will be issued an exchange/return slip with the order details with instructions for returning the product. 

Bird of Prey Jewellery will accept items for exchange, or refund, on anything you are not happy with when returned, postmarked within 14 days of the delivery date, in new and unworn condition and in the original packaging. 

However, unless the item is faulty, was not received in the condition described or has a fault agreed upon by the customer and Bird of Prey Jewellery, shipping and handling fees are non-refundable and the return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. 

Please make sure all packages have a tracking number to ensure safe delivery of your return.


What happens if my order is late or lost?

Please advise Bird of Prey Jewellery by contacting Amanda at shop@birdofprey.co.nz if you have not received your order in a reasonable time-frame, based on the estimated delivery times provided. 

Missing or delayed orders will be followed up when notice is received by email from you, to expedite delivery as soon as possible.

Bird of Prey Jewellery will make all possible endeavours to locate or replace your missing order in a reasonable time-frame.


How will my order be packaged?

All care is taken to package your jewellery order safely. Each item is individually wrapped in tissue then boxed for delivery, together if there is more than one item. Please specify in the additional notes area at the bottom of the checkout page, if you would like your order gift-wrapped and with a personalised note.

Do you use recycled or sustainable packaging?

Definitely yes! Bird of Prey strive to use biodegradable packaging and to reduce, re-use, and recycle material whenever possible.

Orders are couriered or posted in recyclable, paper-wrapped boxes. Some plastic packaging may be re-used to send your order. International orders may at times be sent in a plastic mailer bag.

Orders within New Zealand are boxed and nested in fresh and dried plant material to cushion the jewellery.

What will it cost to send my order?

SHIPPING WITHIN NEW ZEALAND

As we are a small business we can ship your order fast.

Orders are processed within 24 hours and sent the first working day available thereafter.

Within New Zealand you can expect to receive your order within 2 - 3 days and internationally, within 5 - 10 working days. 

Delivery of your order by tracked POST (up to six items) is calculated during checkout. Within New Zealand the cost to send is $8. For rural delivery a $5.50 surcharge applies.

Bird of Prey Jewellery offer FREE SHIPPING BY POST within New Zealand on all purchase totals over NZD $100, and worldwide on purchase totals over NZD $500.

Non-signature COURIER delivery is offered within New Zealand for a flat rate of $10.50 per order, including up to six items combined. A $5.50 surcharge applies to rural addresses. 

Signature-required COURIER delivery is offered within New Zealand for a flat rate of $13.50 per order, including up to six items combined. A $5.50 surcharge applies to rural addresses.

Orders over $120 will be COURIERED FOR FREE within New Zealand if the courier option is selected.

Alternatively select the Click and Collect option if you would like to collect this from the studio yourself. Contactless collection is available on request.

Bird of Prey Jewellery reserve the right to use an alternative courier to that provided above as and when required.



INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

SHIPPING TO AUSTRALIA: 

Your order will be shipped the next working day by international airmail to reach you within 3 - 10 working days. For shipping of a small single item, posted and tracked the cost is $13.21. Shipping costs on multiple items is calculated at checkout.

For our customers in Australia we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders totalling over $500 NZD.

SHIPPING TO ASIA:

Your order will be shipped the next working day by international airmail to reach you within 3 - 10 working days. For shipping of a small single item posted and tracked the cost is $20.49. Shipping costs on multiple items is calculated at checkout.

For our customers in Asia we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders totalling over $500 NZD.

SHIPPING TO EUROPE, NORTH AMERICA, UNITED KINGDOM:

Your order will be shipped the next working day by international airmail to reach you within 3 - 10 working days. For shipping of a small single item posted and tracked the cost is $19.26. Shipping costs on multiple items is calculated at checkout.

For our customers in Europe, North America and the UK, we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders totalling over $500 NZD.

SHIPPING ELSEWHERE IN THE WORLD:

Your order will be shipped the next working day by airmail to reach you within 3 - 10 working days. For shipping of a small single item posted and tracked the cost is $22.67. Shipping costs on multiple items is calculated at checkout.

For our customers elsewhere in the world we offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders totalling over $500 NZD.

What is your return policy?

Bird of Prey Jewellery offer easy refunds and exchanges, however any customised or sale items are considered final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Bird of Prey Jewellery will accept items for exchange, or refund, on anything you are not happy with when returned, postmarked within 14 days of the delivery date, in new and unworn condition and in the original packaging. 

Bird of Prey will endeavour to refund or return the exchange to you within two weeks of receipt. 

On an individual basis Bird of Prey Jewellery reserve the right not to accept the return, in extenuating circumstances. 

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable and the return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Items received as gifts may be exchanged for another item of equal value within 30 days of purchase. 

Bird of Prey Jewellery is not responsible for any return items lost or damaged in transit or any shipping fees. Please make sure all packages have a tracking number to ensure safe delivery of your return.

What is your cancellation policy?

To cancel your order, please contact Bird of Prey within 24 hours of ordering. We cannot cancel orders that have already been shipped.

How long will my order take to process?

Once your order is placed, the item will be packaged within 24 hours and shipped on the next working day.

Please note: if a product is specifically described as "made to order" then an additional 3 days turn-around is required before processing.

How can I track my order?

Please contact Amanda at shop@birdofprey.co.nz for a shipment tracking number should you require it. All parcels within New Zealand are now tracked at each delivery stage.

Please notify Amanda immediately if the wrong address was inputted during checkout so it can be updated before shipping. If the item is already shipped then Bird of Prey Jewellery are not liable for any lost packages or undelivered packages. We recommend calling the freight company to change the delivery address as we cannot do this for you. Only the recipient on the package can call and change the delivery address. 

Bird of Prey Jewellery will not re-ship, replace or refund orders if lost for wrong addresses. It is up to the customer to provide correct information.
